Kings Lynn V Huntingdon (peterborough Premier)
Huntingdon took their perfect record on the road to Kings Lynn to play their 4th game of the season.
The long journey seemed to have affected Huntingdon, as they turned in a horrendous quarter, which ended with them being behind 9-7. The second quarter showed an improvement from Hawks, as they turned up the heat off the back off 15 points combined from Matt Parsons and Jon Hipple, to take a 31-21 halftime lead.
Hawks once again came out big in the third, with some good all-round play, giving them a 50-36 lead going into the 4th. They were then able to see out the game taking it 69-47 in the end, gaining a good road victory in what early on appeared to a potential “banana skin”.
Jon Hipple led all scorers with 19. Chris Banks got 17, whilst Steve Claringbould and Matt Parsons with 11 and 10 respectively.
